Usually, interesting new abilities are unlocked after spending 11, 21, 31, or 41 points in a tree. Talents can improve existing abilities or stats like weapon skill, add new functionality to abilities, or teach players brand-new abilities. Players can split points evenly among specialization trees, or fully invest in a tree to get the final ability at the end of the tree. The TBC talent system comes with 61 points which can be put into three talent trees per class. Keep in mind, these will change 1000 times before release anyway.īut, regarding the new talents, I do like them, think it can bring a personal feel to how you decide you put your points, depending on your playstyle, there is nothing that you HAVE to HAVE, to get something els, nothing leads to anything, which is great - its a way to get abit away fromt he cookie cutter builds, however - there will always be something thats "the best choice" for either pve or pvp, but its not going to be so elitist as it is now, not possible.
